    Need help with Kindle Fire

Hi, I used a guide from xda and followed these instructions

    -Re-name the file to update.zip
-Moved it to the root of the SD card
    -Booted in to TWRP
    -Factory Wipe/Restore
    -Wiped Cache
    -Wiped Dalvik Cache
    -Wiped System
    -Installed the "update.zip"
    -Wiped cache/dalvik again
    -Rebooted

I think the update failed and with the system wipe I no longer have an os, just an assumption though. I still have twrp on boot. I now am stuck at the boot logo screen. I need help to bring her back alive, it belongs to my 7 yr old son and I cant tell him Daddy cant fix it. Please someone help, thanks in advance.
PS I have rooted a few phones but beside that I am total noob.

Sorry, I don't have one so I'm not up on messing with them. If it is like most phones, if you can get into recovery then it is fixable. Is there a stock image you can flash or maybe a backup?

I have a stock update.zip but have a problem with twrp recovery flashing it. Unfortunately no back up.

Have you checked into help on a Kindle Forum? I don't have any experience with these devices either.

Thanks. I'll give it a try. Right now I'm away from the computer.

So what does a 7 year old run on a Kindle Fire that it needs to be rooted ? Just wondering I'm not trying to be a jerk . My Razr Maxx is rooted but my Infinity TF700 isn't .

I've never rooted any of my tablets. Never really saw a need to.
