\r\n Can any one recommend a good app or procedure? I\'ve googled this, and searched droidforums.net manually, but so far, no dice.

\r\nIdeally, I\'d like to do this wirelessly, and without SD cards. Failing that, using a PC as a mid-point would work too. I\'ve tried the suggested apps I\'ve seen, plus others, here\'s the ones I\'ve tried so far:
\r\nSMS Backup from George Android
\r\nAdvanced SMS Backup from beginnow
\r\nSMS Backup+ from Jan Berkel

\r\nI thought there were more, but they must be hiding in my "all" list under the Play Store.

\r\nThe last one in the list won\'t do picture messages. I think the first one sent an email to gmail, but wasn\'t able to do anything with it from the other side. And the other one claimed to back up everything, inluding pic messages, but then could not restore them on the new device, kept giving errors. I\'m afraid I didn\'t document this all very well.

\r\nI\'ve been trying to go with free options, because I don\'t want to buy something that won\'t work, however, if something is known to work with these 2 devices, and does pic txts, I\'d be willing to spring for it.\r\n

\r\n A really good app is called My Backup. It will backup your SMS, MMS (picture messages), plus a whole bunch more. I mainly use it to backup all my messages, as for everything else I use Titanium Backup.

\r\n Great app. Thanks for the suggestion. I bought the full version to do the online transfer. Seems very comprehensive and useful.

\r\nNow I have a different problem though - it\'s been a few weeks and I have 200 some odd texts on the Razr, and My Backup Pro over-writes them to restore the backup from the X. Fortunately I made a backup from the Razr first so I can switch back. But my goal is to combine them. Anyone have any thougts on how to do this? Another app perhaps? A manual method? I really do want all my texts togther if I possibly can.\r\n
