Bluetooth MAP profile

Hi. I have a Razr Maxx with the excellent Liquid Smooth theme that I just flashed last night hoping to get the Bluetooth MAP profile. But it didn't work out - the profile; the flash was fine. I have spent hours reading the boards but, so far, haven't found an answer to my question - which is this: Is there a (rom/kernel/patch/update/flash/app/technique/tweak/some sort of blessing to God Almighty ) way for me to get the MAP Bluetooth profile on my mobile?? I ask because I have a Mygig RHR (Chrysler) head unit and the hands-free Bluetooth works well with the exception of SMS - I can make and take calls and stream audio all day long in my whip..just no SMS... and yet....so-much-sadness..

Yep.. saw that.. I really don't understand why this is such an issue.. Seems to me that map would be on of the first functions you'd want out of bluetooth.. idunno maybe i'm missing something??

yeah saw that, too.. i don't think the powers that be at google even read those.. too bad my contract isn't up until 7/14...... I might just bite the bullet and buy something at full retail - or hit ebay.. idunno.. but thx..and stay cool!!

If you are rooted or are willing to root, maybe there is a ROM out there with MAP being part of the recipe. Good luck, it is certainly annoying to lose a functionality you had, ironically after you "upgrade" your OS....
