    Help.........

I have no power button on my maxx. The battery died on me and I am charging it right now. Now my issue is will I be able to turn it on at some point? I have tried using pointed items where the power button used to be but that is not working. I am wondering if I will be able to power the phone back on another way?

    Thanks for the help!

Try resetting it (equivalent to a battery pull) by holding down the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously. You will need to hold them for about 10 seconds and you should see the phone reboot.

In the future try not to let your phone go lower than 10-15%.

Can you see any sort of buttons where the power button -used- to be? Maybe try pressing the button with something like a pencil eraser.

I have tried jamming everything in there. Not sure why that isn't working. Crapola

Sorry - I didn't understand what you meant when you said you didn't have a power button.
You can't see a rubberized compression area in the spot where your power button should be? It may require a fairly firm amount of pressure because the regular power button does.

Out of curiosity, how did you lose your power button? Have you done any searches about possibly replacing it?

I have pushed what I thought was pretty hard with no success. I work as a firefighter in Manhattan and dropped it in the fire truck and it fell PERFECTLY on the power button.

I have figured it out though. Hook it up to a computer and it will turn it on.

That's good to know. Glad you found a way to get it to turn back on, if you need to again.
