Hi guys i got a droid razr maxx hd and just wanted to know if anyone here knew why my battery isnt lasting too long

First of all, welcome to the site.

I would encourage you to do a search on the forum as there are many posting related to the battery, how to extend use between charges, etc. Some of these posts go into a great deal of detail about how to resolve battery issues.

That being said, typically the primary drain on the battery is the screen so check your brightness levels, screen time-out, etc.
Beyond that you may want to provide more info related to how you use your phone (streaming music, videos, extensive calling, games, etc.) Also, check into an app called GSAM Battery Monitor as it will provide VERY detailed info as to what may be eating up your power.

My average battery life has been pretty good.

Welcome aboard. Make sure that you try and condition the battery. Run it down to about 15% left. Turn it off, and allow it to charge over night. Then repeat. After that, the amount of usage you get will be the best you can get.

So should i do the down to 15% 2 times and can i charge it a little now to it will last until tonight

So can i charge it a little now, and then at night i will run it down to 15% turn it off and let it fully charge? And then do that twice right?
