Howdy folks, I hadn't been on in quite some time. Yesterday I upgraded from my droid razr to a razrmaxx HD. So this morning I went to tapatalk and tried logging into this forum. It had been so long since I had logged in that I didn't remember exactly how I had configured the spelling of my user name or which password I had used.
So after a number of abortive attempts I began getting a message, "Failed to connect to forum. Please check with forum administrator." Anyone else have this happen, and figure out a fix ? I've tried repeatedly and continue to get the same message. I did contact a moderator but they are not aware of it being a forum issue, rather maybe it is tapatalk. I finally figured out the correct login info and I'm here on my PC.
All other forums I use are logging me in through tapatalk wth no problems. I'm thinking the spam protectors may be blocking me by default since I made so many attempts to log on with incorrect password/user name.
I'm using Tapatalk right now with no problems whatsoever. Other than uninstalling and reinstalling and clearing the cache I'm not quite sure what to recommend or suggest.
How do I clear my cache ?
Go to system settings, apps, and open Tapatalk. After a moment you should see the fields for data and cahce populated. Touch the "clear cache" and "clear data" selections (may only need to do one - I dont remember).

Nah, uninstalled, reinstalled, logged onto my other forums but still get "failed to connect to forum" .
Finally got in. Typing this on my maxx. Cool beans.
Good to hear it is working. If the cache clear didn't work I was going to suggest an uninstall.
Welcome back!
