I'm trying to clean my fake DROID RAZR

I have this fake RAZR that Verizon gave me, which I call her RAZR, and she has black all over her thick trim around the front of her. I'm trying to get the black off as it was originally silver and I can't figure out how to get it back to it's original silver color. I need some suggestions please. The back of it feels like a thin metal but I'm not sure. Thanks,

If its fake, isn't it friar to say that its production was far from top of the line? Maybe paint or something is just coming off or the type of metal used, if its metal, was really cheap.

I think the metal is actually the paint not sure what kind of paint to buy. Has to be able to put up with RAZR being in the shower with me, and cuddling with me. I don't wanT water based paint. I will have no issue with pairing it, just need the right brush and paint

I will admit that I even tried soaking RAZR in a container of alcohol

I decided to paint the edges with a paint pen then seal it with a waterproof glue that's safe to use on it
