Is there a Motorola issue with Chromecast?

Just received a message from Amazon that the delivery of my Chromecast order is delayed until October or November. Has anyone else ordered one? Are they that back ordered?

I may cancel and see if I can get it somewhere else.

If you can believe their websites, Play Store says deliveries within 2 - 3 weeks and Amazon says 2 - 3 months. Best Buy just shows unavailable but if you hit the store on the right day, you might get lucky and snag one. I got mine at Best Buy the first day they were available. I went back this week to see about getting another one for my bedroom TV and the salesman said to check back on Tuesdays as that's when they get their product deliveries. However, he did say that they got zero Chromecasts this past Tuesday.

I used an old Amazon gift card to purchase it so I guess I'll just try to be patient. Must be VERY popular.

Good news! New update to Google Play Music app version 5.1.1109K just released. Installed it on my Razr Maxx and can now cast Play Music app to my Chromecast! Haven't seen update for Play Movies & TV app yet.

Still waiting for mine from Amazon. They are saying I should get it either in September, October, or November.

I still haven't been able to find a 2nd Chromecast unit for my bedroom TV. My local BB got 5 units last Tuesday. I called at 10:00 AM when the store opened and asked if they could hold one for me but they said they couldn't. I debated about driving down to the store but decided to sneak out of the office and by the time I got to the store at about 10:40, they had sold all of them. BB website shows "Unavailable" for all 19 of the BB stores closest to me in TX.
