OTA upgrade being deployed on Razr M

My RAZR M got upgraded to 98 18.78 this morning as I turned it on. I believe this is the same system version being pushed on the HD. No major changes to report, more a maintenance update than anything else.

At least it did not break anything

It will break root and block the bootloader exploit.

Figured that, as it seems ALWAYS the case with "upgrades". Forgot to mention my M is not rooted, hence there was really nothing to break unless Verizon had a major screw up.

No doubt. I remember you mentioning you didn't feel the need to root, just wanted to post a disclaimer in case someone saw this and was rooted.

I know this is an "M" section... So I apologize in advance... But I'm NOT rooted and the NEW update 9.18.79 messed up my Maxx HD. :banghead:

In fact my phone just froze up again then shut off 10 minutes ago and rebooted for no reason. My phone is now doing strange things constantly.. I can't hang up in phone calls (half the time) when using my Bluetooth I have to end the call with the phone?? And it's showing 4G far more often but I'm getting no connection at all a lot of the time.

I know this might sound crazy but I'm so busy with work right now I don't have time to do an FDR

After each FDR I end up spending a couple of hours trying to get my phone usable for my work needs...
