I'm waiting for the Note 8.0 = Nexus 7 + 1GB RAM + SD slot + HDMI (MHL) + IR Blaster + S-Pen + 1". It fixes all the Nexus' short-comings.
If anyone is on the fence with buying a Nexus 10 just buy it you won't regret it.
The case has a hard rubbery feel to it, it's very nicely put together and was obviously designed to take an impact if dropped,.. it's durable. The front facing speakers produce excellent sound quality when watching movies or listening to music it's crisp and clean. The screen rivals the iPad and is best currently available in Android, it's Gorilla Glass 2 with 10.055" 2560 X 1600 and 300 ppi. I've played with a lot of different Pads and the Nexus 10 is also the smoothest and fastest I've experienced no surprise really.... take a look at the benchmarks Android Benchmarks - Geekbench Browser. I still haven't experienced any lag at all, anywhere, (the 2GB RAM shines) in fact when I'm finished playing on the Nexus 10 then jump on my Razr Maxx HD I'm no longer feeling the excitement, the OS just isn't nearly as polished or clean and it's a little on the laggy side. The 9000 mAh Lithium polymer battery life is outstanding, it's been on for 8 hours now and the battery is currently at 90%,.. and with heavy use it lasts all day long. I would imagine you could get 3 days out of it unless your on it constantly playing games or streaming movies. I can't say enough good this thing. The only negative is that it doesn't have an SD card slot... which is why I purchased the 32GB model. Also don't let the Dual-Core A-15 CPU bother you it's fast.
And Yes, I bought it for my wife,.... but I think I'm going to buy a second one...... I'm still debating..... if a newer one is on the horizon I might wait a little longer.
I hope the next line of Motorola smart phones has 2GB RAM!
Just wanted to give an update now that I've had some time on this thing.
I will have to play with a 10" tablet before I take the leap. It seems too big for what I'd want. I like the size of the Nook Color that I'm currently using as an excuse for tablet, and it's very portable.
