Looking at Tablets suggestions?
I'm in the Market looking at Tablets, I've been reading review after review and was wondering which one is the best?
Best Screen (must be Gorilla Glass), Best Video, Best GPU,... and so on....
Right now I'm seriously leaning toward the Nexus 10, thoughts?

I was going to suggest the Nexus 7. I'm itching to get one.
Problem is, I don't use the tablet I have. I bought a Nook Color a few years ago and installed CM7 on it about 5 minutes after I got it home. I used it as a tablet, but found that there was nearly nothing I did with it that I couldn't or didn't do with my phone.
I feel like my money would be better spent on a new laptop, which I don't even use that much anymore. My laptop is about 5-6 years old and is on it's last legs. My tablet use might change if I had a "real" tablet (the Nook barely qualifies), it might change my usage patterns.

Thanks fury, My wife is a School teacher, she said several of the other teachers have iPads they use for class presentations, that are hooked up wirelessly to the overhead screen. She now wants a tablet and I told her maybe an iPad would be her best option if that's what the other teachers are using.... but she would prefer an Android based tablet....since the school is shifting toward Google based systems. So I actually need to go buy my wife a Tablet and a new Laptop, her laptop is a few years old now and it's time for a replacement. So I'm actually in the market for both. I just want the best for her.

I love my Asus tf300. When I was shopping I wanted one that had expandable memory. It is surprising how many don't have an SD or micro SD card.
I also like the option of docking my tablet to the keyboard docking station (which has another SD card slot and battery extender). With the 32Gb on board memory, micro slot (another 32gb) and SD card in the docking station (32gb) I have plenty of memory.
I think there have been a couple newer models since I got the 300. But mine has quad processors and is quick and smooth.
Asus also seems to be on top of updates. I am on my third Android update. Currently running the 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
Two things I wish: I wish it had Gorilla glass and I wish the screen brightness went higher. It is almost impossible to read the screen in sunlight.

Thanks ToeJamm, I didn't even think of looking SD card options. I love ASUS products but Gorilla Glass is a must.

Some of the newer ones may have it. I think they cut cost on the tf300.

May be worth waiting until it gets closer to Christmas, I can only assume there will be a new round coming out, with new features and gizmos.
I guess it depends on the urgency of needing it, but it's never fun to buy something and then have a better option pop up for a same or similar price a month later.

Re: Looking at Tablets suggestions?
I'm not good at the waiting game...if something is released that's a real game changer.... well we will just get that one to.
BTW,... every computer I have built has an ASUS motherboard,... and Intel processor.

Re: Looking at Tablets suggestions?
I find it no surprise that the TOP rated tablets are the Google Nexus series and the ASUS.

To me the deal breaker when I was looking was whether it had memory expansion. I understand that they expect you to use the cloud, etc. but since my tablet was WiFi only I felt it essential to have some removable memory.
